A Universal Heart Condition
Romans 5:12 (KJB) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
There is much confusion at work in this world concerning sin. If you ask lost hearts, many will not agree that they have a universal sinful heart condition. They will attempt to describe themselves as moral and ethical people who are fundamentally good.
However, that claim does not align with what God tells us in His Word in many verses concerning the inherent presence of sin and death. The truth is that the presence of sin is an innate feature of every heart born into this world. In other words, every soul is naturally bent towards evil from birth.
I think you will agree that God does not mince words here in this verse from the book of Romans. His statement of truth is crisp and clear and placed on the bottom shelf for our understanding. Sin entered this earth through Adam and ultimately brings physical death, but it does not have to remain that way!
For souls who recognize Jesus Christ and choose to agree with Him about the nature of sin and death, will enjoy eternal life and fellowship with Him forever.
Though you have been born a sinner in this world through Adam, you can live forever through the finished work of Christ on Calvary. God has revealed this vital truth so that each person can understand the innate presence of sin and death choosing to live forever.
