Abraham Staggered Not
Romans 4:20-22 (KJB) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Abraham believed God through faith, having no doubt that God’s promises would come to fruition just as He promised. Abraham did not have any lingering doubts that God would do exactly what He promised without knowing all the spiritual parameters including how, when, where.
Certainly, we know that God has a plan that continues to unfold on this earth. Often, we cannot clearly see all the answers, or have them in reach at our fingertips. At times, we cannot see the end from the beginning. We may ask ourselves how is God going to accomplish that spiritual feat when a trial is spiritually fierce and unrelenting?
But, in the end, we know for sure that God will accomplish exactly what He has promised. We recognize this truth because we have unwavering faith, like Abraham. We positively know that God will usher in every one of His promises because He cannot lie, He has supernatural power and presence for His purposes, and He would not casually make promises intending to fulfill them.
God will certainly be able to fulfill every promise He has made through the presence of His supernaturally powerful performance which is above and beyond anything in this world (Ephesians 3:20). Neither should we stagger at the scope and extent necessary for bringing all His promises to pass according to His will and way.
