Are You Dog Paddling Or Sojourning Securely In His Ark?
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; (Genesis 8:1 KJV)
No matter the depth of the circumstances at hand or size of the impending storm on the horizon God eternally remembers His own spiritual family. This scripture verse speaks of the day God sent a wind to blow over the earth to gradually dry up the great accumulation of flood water which had covered the earth for a long length of days.
God remembered Noah and his family. They were ushered to safety in confines of the ark as the rain began to come to flood the earth. God remembered the faithfulness of Noah as he labored, according to the will of God, for constructing the ark. There was a promise of rain which was not familiar to those living on the earth at this time. Noah was harassed by many scoffers and scorners because there had never been anything called rain fall upon the earth. Nobody, besides Noah, had faith in God’s promise to flood the earth.
God greatly protected Noah and his family from any harm in onslaught of the flood water and was now at work causing the great accumulation of flood water to abate by being absorbed in the ground and air making it possible for Noah and his family to disembark from the ark onto dry land.
