Bah! Humbug! The Devil is a Liar
John 8:44 (KJB) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
This verse, in its ancient context, points to assassinating the character of leaders of Israel.
This same truth is still evident among citizens, authority figures, and both business and political leaders. It is true that malice, contempt, slander, and the slaying of personal character in particular, and even rampant among professing Christians today.
The devil is the father of lies and favors degradation and applauds personal ruin and will take any steps necessary to denounce and deflate the presence of joy and blessings. The devil will lie and tempt a person to sin against the holy nature of God, especially in this holiday season set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
If you are not careful, in this Christmas season you can find yourself overwhelmed, defeated, deflated, and shouting blah, blah, blah, along with lost hearts in this world rather than sharing the many eternal blessings and eternal benefits given of God.
The devil is a liar who will attempt to get hearts and heads to focus upon darkness and defeat rather than remaining hopeful in alignment with God. This holiday season is set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who ushered in great blessing, peace, and the timeless joy from God. All the Bah! Humbug concerning this time of year always originates with lies and fabrications of the devil.
