Be Kind, Forgive, And Love Others
Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
The genuine love and kindness of God are like no individual can offer to another soul. However, for souls spiritually regenerated having the Spirit of Christ at work inside them, forgiving others should be a natural occurrence because Jesus Christ was overflowing with mercy and grace towards them concerning their harshest sinful moments.
What? You might say, how can forgiveness, love, and kindness be natural towards those who have hurt us? How can a woman forgive her husband, who frequently mistreated her? Or how can a child forgive a parent who became bitter in the middle of a nasty divorce? How about an injured victim forgiving the person who accosted him? These and many other potential damaging scenarios run through hurting hearts daily.
If these examples seem next to impossible for you to apply towards others who hurt you in some way, then perhaps you are misinformed about the power and presence of God or do not know or recognize the power of God at work in your own life.
God makes it possible for any regenerated soul to extend forgiveness, love, and kindness towards any person who may have hurt you in some way. This sincere treatment towards others is not possible apart from the indwelling presence of God.
