1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJB) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
The conclusion to this spiritually complex “resurrection chapter” which successfully fillets the gospel message into digestible bite-size chunks and draws every sincere child of God to remain personally stedfast by resting inside God’s spiritual power and presence.
It is true, a child of God is unmovable when bound inside the unconditional love of God made possible by the shed blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Calvary. His perfect love is over and above any kind of “Psuedo-love” ever drummed up by mankind in this world. God’s love draws a man to desire eternal things and be directed by His divine love and grace-filled pathway in this world made possible by the finished work of His Son upon the cross.
Any labor a man exerts in fulfilling the will of God for his life is never in done in vain. We have and can hold the very Word of God in our hands as we sojourn in this world. In His Word, we can read, study, and understand God’s direction, promises, and prophecies presented for learning and application in ancient times and for us today.
Anything that God desires of us and directs us to accomplish is made possible by His power and presence. Our work for Him is never in vain and will remain standing, unmovable and abounding inside the power and presence of God.
