Cast Their Crowns Before Him
Revelation 4:10-11 (KJB) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Yes, God is worthy of all our praise and honor. So much in fact, that any crowns a godly man divinely receives for his work on this earth is not for his own wearing, but ultimately for the purpose of bringing God honor and glory.
Yes, the crowns a man receives from God is for ultimately presenting them before Him as He sits upon His throne for bringing Him honor and glory.
The heavenly scene that these verses have recorded is the Bible is one of twenty-four elders repeatedly bowing before God at the throne in heaven and casting their crowns before Him. Imagine, if you can, your divine purpose in heaven will be to continuously worship and adore God forevermore. God deserves all our glory and honor for He alone has created all things, including each of us. There is no other person or god that deserves our adoration and praise like God does.
A worshipful heart is naturally present inside every sincere child of God.
An eternal presence of continual worship and praising God is certain for every genuine professing child of God. Only God is worthy of receiving glory and honor, naturally emitting from the hearts of His regenerated spiritual family, both now as we sojourn on this earth and forevermore.
