He Became Poor
2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJB) For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
When a man hears the word “poor” he most often thinks in term of financial poverty or a lack of funds. Financial woes are not the meaning of the word poor as used in this verse.
“he was rich, yet for your sakes he ... Continue Reading →

The Word Made Flesh
John 1:14 (KJB) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Word is none other than Jesus Christ. Yes, He was sent by God to come to this earth and live among men. His human life in existence as a man and at the same time as God, was a powerful testimony to ... Continue Reading →
No Natural Understanding of God
Romans 3:11 (KJB) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
If you think you were born into this world as naturally special, complete with superhuman status, you are dead wrong. Every person is born into this world as a spiritual pauper, as residents of a spiritual Harlem. “Spiritual Death Row” is filled with a great population of “spiritually dumb and doomed” inhabitants of this earth.
It’s true, every person, ... Continue Reading →

In Him Was Life
John 1:4 (KJB) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
This verse speaks of Him. This “Him” is an inspired reference to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is a pre-incarnate existence of God since the beginning of time. God, Jesus Christ, and His Spirit, a trichotomy, have always existed together as one deity since the beginning.
God has three unique existences (a divine deity) woven together in one; a body, soul, spirit.
Light reveals ... Continue Reading →

A Man of Earth and A Man of Heaven
1 Corinthians 15:47 (KJB) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
A man born on this earth is formed out of the dust of this earth. No kidding, if the elements of man are tested by Science, the results will be consistent with the particles of dust on this earth. Think about this for a moment, it is amazing that the creation ... Continue Reading →

Of No Reputation
Philippians 2:7 (KJB) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
What is a reputation?
It is a publicly held opinion regarding the state of or condition of a man or woman. It is a widely held and readily available opinion regarding every man. It is an attempt to answer who a man is, or who he seems to not to be, regardless ... Continue Reading →

What Is Your Leadership Style?
Mark 10:44-45 (KJB) And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
God’s spiritual economy and authority, both on this earth and in the eternal realm, operate on a much different fuel than many leaders in authority at work in this dark and wicked world.
The world’s ... Continue Reading →

The Deity Exposed to His Enemies
John 10:30 (KJB) I and my Father are one.
This is a short verse packed with a powerful spiritual punch that Jesus Christ delivered squarely right “smack in the face” to his enemies.
Jesus Christ is speaking in this verse about Himself and His Father who is God. He clearly is identifying Himself as one with God. He is one and the same as God. Jesus Christ and God are one or in unison in ... Continue Reading →

A Greater Tabernacle
Hebrews 9:11 (KJB) But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building.
The Old Testament tabernacle was a temporary tent which stood with the purpose of pointing to a coming perpetual temple. This Old Testament tent was temporary, moveable, and provided a holy place for God to come and dwell. It came with strict instructions ... Continue Reading →
2 Peter 3:9-10 (KJB) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that ...
