The First Shed-Blood Sacrifice

Genesis 3:21 (KJV) Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

In Genesis chapter three, the Bible tells that God provided a shed-blood sacrifice to cover Adam and Eve’s nakedness.  This passage does not tell us what animal skins God used in providing their cover, though we know that many animals were alive and walking on the earth.
