Crookedness and Corruption Always Catch Up with Con Men
Proverbs 11:3 (KJB) The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
A crooked man can only get away with selling a worthless bill of goods for a relatively short period of time. Eventually, his choice to be dishonest will catch up with Him. A con man is a tricky man who is good at deceiving others.
However, any person who chooses to identify with Jesus Christ inside a personal relationship with God will be directed by heavenly discernment. Having spiritual judgment at work in a child of God’s heart and mind is key to being able to identify and sidestep rues the devil places in his or her pathway.
It is important to remember the devil does not have any new tricks of his dark trade to bamboozle and deceive man with today. If a man knows God’s Word, he also knows the wayward mindset and dark agenda of the devil and is not left hanging, being caught unaware by his tricks.
Unfortunately, any person who does not personally know God will flounder and fall into the devil’s various traps and ruses commonly found at work in this world. Not only will a spiritually ignorant man fall, he will fall hard and not be able to get back up on his own accord. It takes having a personal relationship with God for any man to victoriously maneuver about in this world and to remain spiritually alive forever.
A man with lasting integrity personally associates himself with God, while a man who is dishonest and devilish aligns himself with the god of this world. The crooked pathway leads to damnation forever, while the straight and narrow way leads to being quickened spiritually alive forever.
