Daubed It with Untempered Mortar

Ezekiel 13:10-12 (KJB) Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: 11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

No person in his right mind would attempt to erect a brick wall without properly applying mortar to adhere and solidify each brick.  Only then would a wall be protective, supportive, and provide a sturdy foundation.

A wall of perceived peace was hastily thrown in place for the protection of the people by ancient pastors standing tall in the pulpit.  However, spiritual corners were cut in an effort to raise this wall.  Instead of teaching and preaching the truths of God, their message was fashioned with false promises and rash propaganda far from presenting the divine message of the provision and protection of God.

However, the eternal hedge of protection that God has raised around His spiritual family does provide peace, prosperity, and undoubtedly ushers in unequaled promises.  You see, God gives mankind the Truth with no whitewashing.  None of His Word or teaching seduces a person into believing something dubious or chides them into making rash or uncertain decisions for His message is perpetual and proven true, especially in times of persecution and judgment of God.

This untampered ancient wall mankind attempted to erect in slipshod spiritual fashion was a sham.  It did nothing to preserve and protect the heart of any man, identify with God, and was unstable and rickety, ready to tumble down at the blowing of any contrary wind.  Spiritual mortar is only available in preaching the truths of God and will stand forever.
