Each Choice Agrees With Or Is Contrary To God
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV)
The plumb line in deciding if something or someone should be avoided by those who profess a relationship with Jesus Christ should be solely based upon the commandments and precepts recorded in God’s Word. This means using scripture in context of His entire Word, rather than carving out individual verses to make a point outside the spiritual framework or pattern found in His Word.
Ask yourself is it offensive to God? Or does it bring Him honor and glory?
Does this choice line up as is taught in God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation?
The foundation or spiritual footing of God’s Word never changes. The moral measuring stick at work in this world changes with the onset of contrary winds.
