Faith is the Opposite of Doubt
Matthew 21:21 (KJB) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
When a person has faith in God he or she is standing spiritually tall and strong in any circumstance, being upheld by the unlimited power and presence of God.
Faith placed in God allows for His will and work, even when a person cannot see any palatable potential or possibilities today to be at work on the horizon for tomorrow.
Genuine faith placed in God never doubts or fears what tomorrow will bring to the table, rather it is an invincible assurance peacefully relying upon the eternal nature of God who always has a person’s spiritual best interests in mind.
Sincere faith placed in God stands in direct opposition to engaging one’s faith in the fleeting nature of things of this world.
A person either chooses to stand in full confidence of God or he is placing his misdirected assurance upon unreliable things of this world. Trusting anything or person, rather than God, is to depend on things of man which are always fickle and fleeting. Choosing to place faith in things of God is to count on His supernatural power and eternal nature which never change (Hebrews 13:8).
