Daniel 6:4-5 (KJB) Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
These verses reveal a lot about the character of Daniel. This revealing was useful both in ancient times and for us today. Though these presidents and people sought to find a time when Daniel was operating against the king and his henchmen, they were unable to find any such fault. Daniel stood right before God and the authority placed over him in this world
Though the presidents and princes over Daniel in this world were aligned with evil and sought to find fault with him. However, notice that Daniel was found to be faithful to God and right with God and man. This standing before God is not possible without His power and presence of God at work. No person, no matter how moral and law-abiding, can reach such a plateau on his or her own.
Imagine being found blameless amid the wickedness we live among today. I hope you can comprehend that such a spiritual feat, as is described in this scripture, is not possible without the presence and intervention of God. You too can be innocent before God, just like Danel, with God’s help.
