1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (KJB) Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
The Apostle Paul is beginning the fourth chapter of the letter to the Corinthian Church by giving solid spiritual advice; it is pertinent for this ancient church and our world today. God desires that each of His spiritual offspring is found faithful.
But what does this mean for them and us today? This message calls for every child of God to remain standing, even if the world sits down. It calls us to stay hopeful if numerous hearts give up and fall because of overloaded with the cares and concerns woking in this world. It means to recognize the time in which we live this day, to know that Jesus Christ can return for us at any time.
Those who serve and savor God will be found faithful.
God gives sound advice for us and ancient hearts through His servant Paul. Each of us should take God’s will and timeless wisdom to heart, standing spiritually tall, with a servant’s heart, and hopeful for His return at any moment.
