Freedom From Sin As Grace Abounds
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. (Romans 6:6-7 KJV)
The quickened alive man and woman is given what is necessary to live a spiritual successful life on this earth when the Spirit of God comes to dwell in their heart.
It sounds simple, the Spirit of God living inside the heart of the child of God should prevent any dalliance into the darkness of sin. Yes, the man or woman of God is given the supernatural strength to avoid being mastered by sin but are never found to be in perfect standing, or fellowship with God, this side of heaven.
This is where the grace of God comes into play.
For those who purport to be sinless and self-righteous while living on this earth God’s Word clearly says:
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (1 John 1:8 KJV)
The quickened alive man or woman of God is free from the penalty of sin, free from serving sin and to enjoy freedom in Christ, but the nature of sin is still at work in this world giving man a choice and the grace of God an opportunity to shine.
