God Does Not Divide by Wealth but by Character
James 2:2-4 (KJB) For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
The setting of these verses is within the church. More specifically, it is within a Jewish synagogue in ancient times.
There is a major difference between class and character. One makes a difference in salvation and the other does not matter in the long term.
Such distinctions such as class ought not to be made in the church, then or today, for God loves both rich and poor believers. The only division God makes among all people is saved and lost hearts. God does not look on our outward appearance, possessions, apparel, adornments, and such to judge a man from outside as mankind often does. God always knows what is going on inside the heart of the matter.
