God Is at Work In All Situations
And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds. (Acts 7:22 KJV)
Moses had some incredible valleys and mountains in his life. Some might think Moses life began “on the wrong foot” because he was abandoned as an infant by his mother in a basket set upon the river. This relinquishment was done because his mom desired to save his life from certain death at the hands of evil men. These men desired to obediently carry out directives of an evil leader who called for the death of young boys in the age range of young Moses.
Moses life was saved from death by abandonment. He was found in this hour of need floating down the river by the providence of God. A young woman, the king’s daughter, spotted Moses floating in the river and he was rescued and raised eloquently in the palace of the Egyptian king. God even worked details out so that when Moses was found as an infant he was nursed by his natural mother who was a slave in the king’s palace.
Moses received the “best of the best” opportunities and was taught knowledge fit for a king. The unexpected environment Moses grew up in brought about both his present and future success all because the presence and power of God was at work in his life.
