God is Never Perplexed or Powerless
Jeremiah 32:27 (KJB) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
It I no secret that times are tough and life is often hard. There seems to be trouble brewing around every corner and peeking out of every cloud forming in the skies. This verse from the book of Jeremiah serves to remind us today that despite all the doom and gloom at work about us that nothing is too hard for God.
All it takes is a journey through the ancient events recorded in the Old Testament to firm the facts in our mind that God can handle any situation that pops up in our life. God provided the way through the wilderness for His chosen Jewish people. Not only did He direct their steps but God gave them shoes that did not wear out, provided water for their thirst, manna, and quail to fill their hunger, and moved water for a safe passage away from their enemies.
Yes, God provided for the Israelites every need and desire as they trekked through the vast wasteland on route to The Promised Land. Today this important truth still applies, there is nothing too hard for God to deliver in your life or mine. Often, we choose to focus only on our multiplying needs and desires and fail to recall that God desires to providently meet our every need.
God specializes in eternal solutions and supernatural providence. Often a person fails to focus on the endless abilities of God. When a man looks to his own failures rather than the goodness and grace of God he quickly loses hope for the future.
