God Knows Your Every intention and Loves You Anyway
John 13:21 (KJB) When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
Isn’t this verse a little scary to ponder upon? God knows every intimate detail of man’s heart. He knows both the good and the foul at work in your heart. Wow! Though we often try hard, we cannot hide anything from His ever knowing eyes as everything is laid open and bare before Him.
Imagine for a moment what it would be like to know, as God, the intent of every man’s heart. You would know exactly what your spouse, child, neighbor, and friends were thinking in “real time.”
That heart information would be overwhelming to mankind but never for God.
Maybe Jesus startled Judas when He spoke of the true condition which resided within his heart. Judas did not “put one over” Jesus because God knew what Judas was about to do, when he would do it, how he would do it, and why he would do it. God knew the true colors of Judas since the beginning.
Jesus knew the exact condition of Judas’s heart, was troubled greatly by it; but loved him anyways.
God knows who has a healthy and thriving spiritual condition, those on death watch having grave spiritual health, and those who have allowed spiritual debris to accumulate in their heart blocking any meaningful spiritual service and honor for God.
This verse shows the humanity of Jesus Christ. Jesus was greatly troubled with the grave heart condition and upcoming betrayal of His own professing Apostle Judas. This verse also shows the supernatural nature of Jesus Christ who loved Judas unconditionally despite the grave condition of his heart.
Jesus was emptied of self and was fully operating with the supernatural Spirit of God on board His heart while in the flesh. God loved Judas unconditionally, despite the presence of evil residing in his heart.
