God Sent His Only Son

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)

As we enter into the eve of celebrating the earthly birth of Jesus Christ please take some valuable time to dwell upon the rich and unrelenting supernatural love of God the Father, for without His love of God for us His Son, Jesus Christ would not have been sent giving an opportunity for all mankind to be made spiritually alive through faith on this earth and given an opportunity to live forever in the eternal realm.

Jesus willingly came to this earth to fulfill the will of God His Father.

Jesus Christ was born on this earth so that you and I can live forever!

God providentially sent His Son Jesus Christ to be born on this earth in the flesh for mankind.  Yes, for us, even when we were unlovely.  His birth on this earth brought about the opportunity for Jesus to take our ugly sin upon Himself in a supernatural spiritual transaction at Calvary.  This applied His precious shed blood to the entire debt of Man’s sin.  His blood accounted for all sin: the past, present, and future.

This spiritual reckoning process began with the birth of Jesus Christ in the flesh.

While we should certainly rejoice today, and every day about the baby Jesus who was supernaturally conceived and physically born upon this earth, We should also appreciate that Jesus is no longer the baby lying in the cradle wrapped in swaddling clothes, He is set down at the right hand of God in the heavenly realm for His work is finished!

Jesus Christ finished the work God had for Him on this earth, Hebrews 12:1-2, and is now in the heavenly realm with God having paved the way for all mankind to come to Him through faith for all eternity.

Celebrate the virgin birth of baby Jesus, dwell in the shed blood of the cross at Calvary, and know He is set at the right hand of His Father in the heavenly realm today as you celebrate Christmas.
