God’s Handiwork is Extraordinary and Evident
Romans 1:20 (KJB) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
God placed many unique things within the framework of this world that clearly indicates His mark on creation. I am sure you are familiar with the seven wonders of the world which are marvels that mankind is awed by. Though these seven things are quite odd and spectacular, they are not the only marvels found in this world.
There is a spot in Pennsylvania I have recently heard of called Coudersport Ice Mine in which nature produces ice in the summer months and running water in the Winter months. Not only is this certainly an oddity, but this ice forms on the ceiling of the cave just feet from the warm temperatures often found here in Summer months. I am sure if you have visited other caves, you understand that when ice is formed it naturally happens at the bottom of the cave rather than from the top as happens at Coudersport Ice Mine.
What is the most remarkable thing about this wonder in nature? That a sincere professing child of God can know that God created this earth including natural phenomena such as this as a means of placing his divine mark on creation. Especially since mankind cannot come up with an exact reason through Scientific means to give specific answers to this oddity, it along with other peculiarities, further give evidence of the intricate handiwork of God on this earth of which no man can completely comprehend or duplicate with the work of his hands.
The Bible tells us in this scripture verse from the book of Romans that God carved a bit of Himself into creation so that even if a man had not read or understood His Word that he is without excuse in knowing that God does exist. This ice cave is one of many natural phenomena mankind cannot fully understand or explain which are present in this world.
