God’s Light Shines from the Heart

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV)

God freely gave Jesus Christ’s light and eternal health for mankind’s spiritual destitute heart condition.  It is available through the quickening power and presence of His eternal light.  Therefore, man has no excuse for allowing the darkness of this world to remain at work his spiritually dead heart.

All people likes to reason away or make excuses for the dreary spiritual heart condition or direction found in their own personal life, including the first man Adam who readily placed the blame upon his wife.

How often have you heard these excuses:

“I cannot do it because…”

“I do not have …”

“I cannot move beyond this point because of what happened to me as a child…”

“I cannot understand what the Bible says it uses confusing words like thee and thou…”

I don’t have any time for things of God …”

Man can always come up with what seems like viable excuses as he reasons about the ill state of his circumstances rather than taking a look at the spiritual health of his own heart.

It is only when man understands the desperate spiritual state of his own heart that he will choose to live according to the Truth and light of God’s Word.

There is no excuse which can whittle away or diminish the truth and supernatural power of God found in scripture.  God has given all mankind the same opportunity for the spiritual quickening of his or her own spiritual salvation with the opportunity for inviting the supernatural presence of God to dwell in his heart.

God has given every man and woman just what they need to shine with the eternal light of God in his or her heart.  However, mankind often flees in the opposite direction, gravitating towards the darkness and evil emanating from the god of this world, rather than coming to terms with facing the light and Truth of God along the narrow pathway.
