Grace Of God Alone

Grace Of God Alone

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

God imparts salvation to humanity through faith alone.  God does not require works of righteousness, doing something nice, helping others in the name of God, or any other thing to bring His gift of salvation to any needy soul.  His grace alone is the fuel of faith at work in spiritually softened hearts.

Yes, God does not require works for salvation, which solely rests on Calvary’s finished work.  However, God does command softened souls to take part in sowing the seeds of His gospel ministry upon the redemption of their hearts.  Sadly, a response many souls take on is to “share” a part in God’s salvation process.  However, God does not need our works, nor does He require any merit for a soul’s salvation, for if He did, no person deserves redemption on his own accord.

There, you have this vital heart message straightforwardly; no man can add any work to his salvation.  Salvation is solely a gift and an inner heart work accomplished by the grace of God to save spiritually softened souls.
