Grace Wins The Race
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
These scripture verses tell us about winning the race. It is important to know that this race is already won and done because Jesus Christ came to this earth to pave a way forward for every soul to join the winning team. Because of His secured win, Jesus Christ is sitting in the victor circle in the eternal realm at the right hand of God. However, every sincere child of God comprehends that grace is the fuel of success and that to take part in this win, he or she must choose to join God’s team personally. This race is not a one-person show but must include the power and presence of God.
The world will tell you that skin is the name of the game, that division of humanity according to race or skin color rather than ability is the key to running the race. Yes, turn off the world’s news and open God’s Word; His message will never lead a soul astray, exaggerate the truth, attempt to change history, leave you high and dry, or speculate about the future. His message is all about grace, not race.
Each person must step off the world’s rollercoaster and take the time to hear and apply God’s message of salvation, grace, and mercy; for doing so, one will find that victory is sure, and that grace wins the race!
God’s proven message is His grace leads to an eternal win. This win encapsulates sweet fellowship with God forever. However, the losing team faces endless desperation and destruction forever.
