Great Joy, love, and Singing
Zephaniah 3:16-17 (KJB) In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. 17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
These two verses are speaking of a time in the future inside the timeframe of the new millennial reign of Christ as God is singing for joy over His saints.
He is filled with joy towards every regenerated man rather than filled with wrath because of sinful indulgences common to spiritually lost people.
God’s joy is not because any person is good in and of himself, but because every child of God has been filled with His goodness and grace. God will rejoice over the spiritual eternal condition of every one of His spiritual children whom He has loved with an unconditional love, and rejoiced with great joy over, and will sing in sweet fellowship with him.
