Great Stirring Questions
Isaiah 40:21-23 (KJB) Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: 23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
There are four important questions chronicled by the prophet Isaiah and recorded in God’s Word useful for stirring the heart and mind of any person who chooses to exist spiritually blind in this world. In Isaiah’s day, like today, there were many people set on ignoring that God really exists who needed to spend some precious time contemplating upon stirring questions such as these:
Have ye not known?
have ye not heard?
hath it not been told you from the beginning?
have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
These questions are followed by truths of God useful in the teaching of His greatness. The glory of God is clear and precisely dotted through the landscape of nature created by God as clear evidence for His existence. The bottom line is that all mankind certainly does know that God is who He says He is! His existence is verified both from what they can see in creation and from oral truths they hear from godly men and women who pass down Truth of God from generation to generation.
The reality is the natural man is without excuse for not personally acknowledging God is real and that His truths do exist.
Those people who are foolish continue to ignore the truths of nature and revelations from God found in His Word; while those who acknowledge, Him are rich in wisdom and knowledge of God and have His very presence spiritually alive inside their heart.
