He Reproved Kings
1 Chronicles 16:21-22 (KJV) He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
I am sure you have heard others say, “nobody is above the law.” Though, it is hard to hear and digest such a claim when it seems more and more each day that certain people are often treated as above the law. If this understanding is the case for you, then you need to latch onto the context of this above verse. There are equality and eternal fairness with God at work now, and His justice will last forever.
You see, this scripture tells us that God protects humanity, especially those souls choosing to walk with Him. This includes the setting of this verse in ancient times and for us today. At the same time, we must comprehend that any person lead away from the potential of eternal fellowship with God by choosing to walk hand in hand with the evil at work in this world, must know that he or she sets their soul up to burn forever in the fires of Hell without God.
Though it may now seem like evil is winning the score in this wicked world, justice is already accomplished by God through His finished work on Calvary. God will reprove kings and saints, the corrupt, and those humble in heart for bringing about glory and honor to Him.
