Hijacking the Truth of God
Matthew 7:15 (KJB) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
For some, attempting to fleece the sheep is a full-time spiritual job.
Now I hope you understand that I am not referring to the actual shearing the sheep, but the attempt to tear down God’s own people, chew them up, and spit them out by “dark spiritual animals” filled with grievous errors, rather than filled with the light and peace of Truth only found inside God’s Word.
Yes, there are some unscrupulous people who make a lifelong profession of trying to fool God’s own spiritual family. They lay in wait for a person who obviously does not know God’s Word in his or her heart (Psalm 119:11) which is a commandment from God.
Not knowing exactly what the Bible says is a dangerous position in which to be found living. It is one sure way an evil minion of satan will hijack your mind with a similar sounding but evil and dark truth. Satan’s cohorts, who are practiced dark spiritual agents, can make his brand of truth say whatever they desire for it to say. If a professing man or woman of God is not intimately familiar with God’s Word they can be fleeced and flailed and left as a compromised vessel filled with a host of grievous spiritual errors.
The dark spiritual enemy’s army is poised and waiting to fleece the biblically unacquainted sheep of God. This spiritual tragedy can be easily avoided by every person being intimately familiar with God’s Word having it buried inside their heart and mind. It is important to keep God’s Truth easily accessible and ready for use as a defensive weapon in the many spiritual battles on this earth.
