Colossians 2:3 (KJB) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Who is the “Whom” referred to in this verse? Indeed, you know that in conjunction with the context of the surrounding verses, this “whom” points to the God-head and Jesus Christ, in particular, who is the storehouse of wisdom and knowledge.
God’s brand of understanding is not the same as information, instruction, and data available to study in this world. Any person can choose to go to a higher school of learning beyond high school graduation and receive a degree in their chosen field. However, a world-based education is not the same as the wisdom and knowledge gained from God.
Knowing and serving God gives a person treasures and wisdom that reaches beyond this life and lasts for all eternity. While a world-based degree encompasses information that will not last, learning of God endures forever.
