Job 17:8-9 (KJB) Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite. 9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

Any sincere child of God would immediately stand and support Job accused and trampled on by his supposed “friends.” This verse says that they would be astonished at this treatment of Job.
This scripture verse points to the fact that a sincere believer would be flabbergasted, or surprised, at this kind of action and words spoken from a “friend” and professing brother or sister in Christ He or she would be stirred into action by supporting another who identifies with or in need of knowing the love of Christ.
Indeed, you understand that a person innocent before God has clean hands. This state of heart and certainty of a perpetual alliance with Christ certainly only makes a person spiritually stronger and stronger in their walk with God, in their treatment of others, including both saved and lost souls.
Yes, we need more innocent hearts stirred up for service to God walking in this world.
Innocence before God gives a man a solid spiritual standing before God. Because he or she chooses to look at situations of life through the lens of God, they view circumstances according to God’s character and viewpoint, rather than according to the faulty and limited lens of this world. In turn, they strive to serve God by treating any other person with respect.
