It Is Dangerous to Swear against His Spirit
Matthew 12:31-32 (KJB) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
God is a God of unlimited love and forgiveness. He desires to forgive every man for his sin. Salvation and respite from sin is as simple as placing trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary trusting in God rather than trusting in oneself.
Mankind can do nothing or be nothing apart from having a personal relationship with God.
However, it is important to note that there is no forgiveness for blasphemy, or for choosing to swear against God’s Spirit, choosing unbelief prevents any prospect of ever possessing eternal salvation. Blasphemy is the one and only unforgivable sin that stands in the way of enjoying fellowship with God forever; both now and for all eternity.
Mankind cannot blaspheme God choosing to swear against His Holy Spirit. Making such a deadly choice is without remorse and stands in opposition to God. It bars any possibility for obtaining salvation and possessing eternal fellowship with God.
