Judah Refused to Believe God Would Do What He Said
Habakkuk 1:5 (KJB) Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
This kind of rebellious and prideful stance is a major spiritual issue among many defiant hearted men today. Not only do many choose to ignore the commandments and precepts of God, they also they fail to believe that God will judge them just as He has said.
You can be certain that God will do exactly what He said He will do.
Just as this verse states, God will follow through with His will whether you choose to believe it or not. Biblical history proves that not only did God judge the people of Judah but He judged Judah as a nation.
Many people in this world need to take God’s timeless and true message personally into their spiritually ill heart. His message is as relevant today as it was in ancient biblical times. It is more up to date than Today’s news. His message does not change with time and circumstances but remains a stable peg you “can hang your hat on!”
It’s true: God is not subject to time and does not change with any fluctuating circumstances or contrary winds at work in this world (Hebrews 13:8).
God means exactly what He has said in His Word.
Hostility towards God will be judged, you can count on it. Choosing to agree with God will always bring perpetual rewards, both in this world and for all eternity. God will keep His promises to both the obedient and the disobedient hearted person.
