Labor, Sweat, Sorrow, Death, Dust
Genesis 3:19 (KJB) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
God told Adam since sin entered the world, every man would face hard work and sweat equity in producing food for himself and his family. Working hard to pay the bills and provide for the family is nothing new for a man today. (Hint, it is not supposed to be that way for a woman to work outside the home for inside God’s perfect will is that she is to struggle in childbirth.)
It is true, many a man, a father, and a husband, must work long hard hours of labor in a job, career, or a profession, go to bed, and get up the next morning and do it all over again. This is an endless circle that cannot be broken for any man who faithfully desires to support his wife and his family. Sadly, many ladies have entered in this endless circle of work with some going as far as to even forgo childbirth and marriage to gain positive traction and greater benefit in their careers. Some women are not satisfied with staying home and to come beside their husbands and to help raise a family and to create future generations.
Not only that but that after a life long journey of hard work this “busy a beaver” or “Mary and Martha syndrome of endless work and a life circle is broken with the sudden onset of death. Yes, death certainly knocks upon every person’s door. Just like God said, upon physical death mankind, including Adam, will return to dust. Yes, every man and woman will return to the dust of the ground upon physical death.
If life on this vile earth seems like an endless circle of work. It is, for a man (and many ladies) will work endlessly to provide well for his wife and family. Then come physical death and a return to dust. Every child of God knows for sure that there is certainly something much brighter and better waiting in the eternal realm but for now, must they must be satisfied with their lot in this life.
