“Let Us…” Speaks of the Trinity
Genesis 1:26 (KJB) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Have you ever taken the time to really read and consider this verse found in the middle of God’s creation? God does not ever proceed or prosper without a purpose and a way and that includes the making of creation, creatures, and mankind.
In this instance, He is speaking of the creation of mankind. Did you take note that it clearly was recorded “Let us make man in our image…” This statement is plural. It refers to the Trinity, which is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who were involved with the beginning of all things. This truth aligns with John 1:1 and cements the truth that all were personally involved in the beginning. Not only that but they are all involved now and forever.
