Lick the Dust
Psalm 72:9 (KJB) They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
It’s true, some travel in this world can be downright dusty, dirty, and time-consuming. Traveling into areas of the utmost, or in remote areas, requires quite a concerted effort. God’s world is vast with many wilderness areas not yet being explored. The trick for a servant of God is to travel about according to His power, will, rather than his or her own power, but without getting the mud of this world on his or her face and hands.
Take a moment to contemplate upon various areas found in this vast world where a man has not yet planted his feet for carrying forth the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are many out of the way areas where many have not heard God’s message.
Jesus Christ cannot return until all mankind has an opportunity to hear His message and the truth remains that all mankind is personally responsible and will stand before God and give an account of his or her life on that day.
The return of Jesus Christ is imminent. There are many lands in this world yet to be covered in reaching hearts with the gospel message. This is an important spiritual responsibility all children of God must share according to His will upon their life.
