Nailed to The Cross

Colossians 2:13-14 (KJB) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

There is such powerful truth in these two verses above.  Go ahead, reread these scripture verses, and let this message settle down into the creases and folds of your heart.  These words given of God are comforting and applicable to every soul.

Chiefly, this scripture tells us that humanity, including you and I, were (or still are) dead in sin.  However, we do not have to stay that way because God made way for all sin to be forgiven and for humanity to reside in eternal fellowship with God forever.  God sent His Only Son to satisfy the Old Testament Law, remove sin and death, and made it possible for any person to hear and apply this truth in his or her own life.

God nailed the sin of all humanity upon the cross upon the hill of Calvary.

That is right; God sent His Only Son to die upon the cross at Calvary so that any person can choose to live in sweet fellowship with Him forever.  If you have not already accepted the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary as payment in full for your sin debt, take a moment to read and apply the truths of God found on The Roman Road, including Romans 3:10-12,23; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10, 13; Romans 5:1; 8:1, and Romans 8:38-39 can give any person the who, what, where, when, and why concerning salvation of a soul and about his or her future peace with God that lasts forever.
