No Condemnation Or Censure for the Godly
Romans 8:1-2 (KJB) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Condemnation is censure or blame at work in the life of a lost heart. Alternately, then it can be understood that spiritual condemnation or critique is not naturally at work in the life of a child of God because he practices keeping a short account of his sin before God.
Keeping a short account with God is the key to quieting any spiritual disapproval from whispering and poking at you and being at work in your ear. Only the man or woman who is aligned in spiritual agreement with God and practices a daily, even hourly, walk with Him can reside with no condemnation.
What makes a clear account with God possible is Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on Calvary. You see, Jesus Christ cleared your sin account and mine, and all accounts when He died for the presence of all sin. Jesus Christ wiped the slate clean, but each regenerated heart must choose to apply the work of His divine eraser.
This verse is one of the many great messages Jesus Christ made available for every softened and sanctified heart. I hope you have applied His grace-filled eraser to the spiritual state of your heart and are found to be godly in Christ, no longer stowing condemnation.
