No Self Aspiration
Galatians 2:20 (KJB) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
This verse, inspired by God and recorded in the book of Galatians gives us a biblical perspective in living the Christian life. This verse contains a spiritual lesson that numerous people learned to apply throughout the ages; making their existence on this earth all about God rather than all about themselves
When we look back to examine the growth in the womb and the birth of Esau and Jacob (Genesis 25:23),we come to understand that their lives, and that of their immediate family, were blighted with battles of self-will even before birth. It is essential for us to examine such struggles and to apply these crucial life lessons about the will of God into our life today. Otherwise, we can find ourselves facing personal struggles and conflicts concerning our will versus the will of God repeatedly without resolution.
You see, it is natural for a lost-hearted soul to aspire to his ambitions rather than give proper spiritual consideration to the will and direction of God. However, it is important to note that a genuine child of God naturally desires to operate with a God-centered mindset and flees from self aspiration.
