Obvious Answers for Narcissists
Romans 11:33-36 (KJB) O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Who Can Know the Mind of God? That is a profound question and one that no person can rightly answer apart from personally knowing God and in applying the spiritual substance located in this verse. This godly wisdom applies to the life of every person but is especially helpful for individuals with narcissistic tendencies.
First, what is a narcissistic individual? One who elevates himself to a level above others and often even pits himself against the unlimited and infinite wisdom of God who does know all and deserves the glory and honor from mankind rather than being carelessly tossed to the back burner of life.
Sadly, puffed up people place themselves above all. This kind of individual has a twisted belief that they know more than anyone, including God (impossible). They believe they have the right answer or explanation in situations of life. Being self-absorbed individuals, they repeatedly chime into all kinds of situations, giving out information and answers, even when not asked for, in an attempt to stand in their sovereignty.
Every individual innately has a dependence on others and, ultimately, an eternal reliance upon the presence, power, mercy, and grace of God, even if many are not readily willing to admit it, each person does have limitations, restrictions, and indeed, does not know all there is to know.
