Only What God Has Declared Matters
Romans 3:3-4 (KJB) For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Well, I think… I feel…, I want…, I desire…
There are multiple interpretations at work in this world open for consideration. However, in the end, only God’s divinely declared opinion will matter. A man either chooses to agree with God’s spiritual estimation or he chooses to disagree with God aligning himself with the fallible and spiritually unsound reasoning of mankind.
These above verses in their original intention were directed towards unbelieving Jewish people. However, these same passages can serve as a resounding reminder for searching hearts today. An opinion formulated by reasoning in this world is just that, an opinion.
God’s Word, however, is God-breathed, set in stone, not subject to appeal, amending, or a modification in any form.
In the end, only what God has decreed and declared in His Word will matter. Each person must choose to follow what God has divinely established and rendered. Or choose to align himself with opinions and feelings manifested in this world. This choice will affect both his spiritual heart condition and the final location of his eternal address.
