Our Enemy Is Spiritually Wicked
Ephesians 6:12 (KJB) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Our enemies in this world are not pansies. They are dangerous and deadly. They are organized and at work in many places, including in positions of leadership and authority. Our enemies are not really the people around us who act out, or that we try to exchange niceties with, or wrestle, and wrangle with.
People are merely “spiritual hostages” of a much greater force.
This verse imparts biblical wisdom of God. It clearly points out that our enemies are spiritual forces rather than our opposition coming from trials and troubles or originating from relationships with people in this world.
Because men and woman are merely pawns used by the devil. He takes full advantage of the dark condition of many hearts and uses their dark and deadly disposition to gain any advantage he can.
Those who have evil leaning hearts are led by the power and purposes of satan, while those led by God have his eternal presence alive and kicking in their softened hearts.
The spiritual bottom line is that God is always ultimately in control, having eternal supernatural power and omnipresence. Satan’s power is divinely limited, and he is held captive by his eventual downfall and death at the supernatural powerful hands of an eternal God.
