Our Sufficiency is of God
2 Corinthians 3:5 (KJB) Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
Did you know that you cannot do a thing without God?
It is true, without Him a man can accomplish nothing.
A man cannot take any credit for any event or accomplishment in his life. For the opportunity, potential, and ability came exclusively from God. Often a man desires to take credit for all the wonderful things he can do while passing on any critical elements of his life by taking no ownership of them. A man prides himself on his great abilities and talents. He admires his own capacity to get things done and cherishes himself above all else.
However, the truth is that all a man’s accomplishments, his trials, and the success or failure of all his endeavors ride exclusively upon the presence and ability of God. God alone deserves the credit and honor for every accomplishment, each opportunity, and every pathway provided, especially in the rough seasons of life in this world.
Whether a man chooses to acknowledge God or not, He alone is the reason for every adequacy, accomplishment, notch, and plateau a man earns or discovers in this world. God alone deserves all our heartfelt honor and glory rather than saving it for our own ungodly flattering and perverse enjoyment.
