Paul Made Havoc
Acts 8:3-4 (KJB) As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Paul started out on the wrong spiritual foot in this world. He was cohesive with the spiritual authorities at work in this world. Aligning with these ungodly leaders allowed Paul to have extra authority, broad boundaries, and many opportunities to wreak havoc in churches and in the homes and lives of early Christians.
Paul was certainly a promoter of ungodliness and evil among early believers. In doing so, his evil intent awoke a spiritual fervor among the children of God who were divinely scattered for the purpose of promoting and lifting up the presence and power of God despite many endured hardships and atrocities at the hands of leaders and their associates, including this dark and devilish work of Paul.
However, God did not allow Paul to dwell and darkly direct others into his melee of darkened spiritual fervor forever. God divinely took Paul down for a “ten count” on the road to Damascus, blinding him with His supernatural light giving him a choice of a new eternal direction and imperative in this world and forevermore.
Paul went from harassing believers of God to promoting the kingdom of God in a “spiritual about-face” at the hands of an unconditionally loving God who had divine mercy on him as He changed the eternal direction of both his heart and mind.
