Paul Traveled with God Gracefully
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. (Romans 1:11-12 KJV)
Paul was communicating with God in prayer and asking for safe travels and mercy on his missionary journey. He desired to bring God honor and glory by imparting a spiritual gift to the church he was to visit. He desired to give them a greater understanding of God according to His will.
Paul desired to give a hearty dose of God’s peace and well-being to these brothers and sisters in Christ and through mutual or reciprocating faith receive comfort from them as well. Sharing faith in God and the same direction of heart brings men and women together to serve God in one accord bringing God great glory and honor.
Paul visited many churches, often accompanied by Timothy, always seeking the will of God through prayer and the best interest of God’s children wherever he traveled.
God allowed Paul mercy, grace, and good will as he traveled to many areas. Paul always sought to establish men and women of great faith to serve God despite the many hardships, trials, and dangers they would face.
