Professing but Not Possessing Christ
Titus 1:16 (KJB) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
It’s true, your actions speak way louder than your words ever will. Speaking about having a relationship with Christ is the easy part. A man or woman can proclaim many things. It is when their feet hit the road and they prove their position in Christ through their service and works.
Please note that I did not say they must perform service and works to validate they have a personal relationship with Christ (Ephesians 2:8:9-10). No, however, any person who sincerely is a child of God will certainly have spiritual fruit and good works outwardly present in their life.
It is correct, a genuine child of God will have a fruit production backing up what they profess! While a false professor will show his lost spiritual state by lack of spiritual adornment at work outwardly in his life. God’s light will always shine brightly in the cracks and fissure in a child of God!
