Reap The Rewards You Sow
Isaiah 3:8-9 (KJB) For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. 9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
God does provide rewards for the kind of life you and I choose to live in this world. There are rewards both for the believer and the natural man. God will bring both kinds of rewards to fruition. In fact, God’s Word clearly delineates what kind of reward will be waiting for each man.
Just like Jerusalem and Judah received the fruit of their doings as recorded in these scripture verses. Each man will reap the reward of the sum of his choices. One leads to eternity in fellowship with God; while the other leads to an eternity without the presence of God.
God’s Word is clear about the reaping process:
Galatians 6:7 (KJB) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Sin sows darkness while mirroring the goodness of God propagates light.
