Remembering Christ Our Savior

Luke 2:10 (KJB) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Whether a person is singing an old fashioned Christmas hymn such as God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman or reading Luke 2:10, he or she can understand the importance of remembering Christ and to not fear amid our present circumstances during our celebration of the Christmas season.

Having a hope-filled mindset is so important that this hymn was stuffed into a popular worldly based Christmas themed show.  It seems even the Grinch, who is portrayed to have a bad attitude towards all things Christmas, comes to realize the unimportance of presents and fanfare as is celebrated in the world during this season.

Though he has a ho-hum, or cavalier attitude in general, the grinch seems to get some things about the Christmas season right.  Such an inkling can be used as a stepping stone, or present an opportunity to saved hearts to witness with a greater understanding of Jesus Christ and the importance of the season.

This verse, Luke 2:10, and many others, speaks to the heart and tells us that no matter our circumstances, we should fear not about today or the future.  God brought good tidings and great joy to all people.  Have you opened His eternal gift, made possible through the finished spiritual work of Jesus Christ?  If so, share His timeless treasure concerning the potential for hope now and a joyful, blessed future.

Yes, Jesus Christ was the special package Mary birthed and is whose birthday is remembered and celebrated on Christmas Day and throughout each day.  Jesus Christ brings each of us an opportunity for perpetual joy and peace as we sojourn in this world.  Every sincere child of God shall not fear what their future holds for God has already worked all things out in certain eternal victory.
