Salvation Does Not Rely on Me

Salvation Does Not Rely on Me

Ephesians 2:8 (KJB) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Thank God that salvation does not rely on me or my work. I would undoubtedly let myself down repeatedly.  However, the spiritual work of salvation is done and finished forever.  God sent His Only Son to accomplish what I could never do for myself or others on the cross at Calvary.

Jesus Christ finished the spiritual work on Calvary through shedding every drop of His precious shed blood so that me and you could receive the gift of salvation from God.  Yes, God’s gift is both spiritually precious and perpetual.

The gift of salvation from God is available through faith in the finished work of His Son on Calvary.  If you have not opened this gift, do it today!

Salvation solely relies upon the finished work of God.  It is a gift opened through placing faith in God rather than relying upon oneself, others, or trusting in anything in this world for imparting eternal salvation to the soul.
