Scoffing at the Truth or Serving God
2 Peter 3:3 (KJB) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.
The last days compromise a spiritual time, or era, in which we live today. It has been considered the last days and an age of grace since Jesus Christ arose from the grave and the Holy Spirit came to be present on this earth in the hearts of genuine believers.
These last days have an undetermined length which is only subject to the will and way of God. Perhaps tomorrow will usher in the last of the last days and the ending of this age of grace. Who knows this but God?
Certainly, we can agree that the scoffing about the truths of God is gaining a great surge of dark spiritual momentum. This should cause every genuine man and woman of God to take notice and desire to warn and pray for other believers at work in this spiritual battle, for those who harbor a spiritually lost heart condition, and for further opportunities to sow truths of God.
What do you know for certain about these days in which we live? Is it the last of the last days and a coming end to this age of grace on this earth? Perhaps you should take notice about the multiplication of scoffers at work in this world and get busy about things of God.
